Knicks Re-Sign Veteran Forward Lou Amundson to a One-Year Deal

For over 15 years, Larry Greenfield led a successful career as a trader with OPUS Trading in Jericho, New York. In his private life, Larry Greenfield finds time to pursue several hobbies and follow his favorite sports teams, including the New York Knicks.

In a recently released statement, the New York Knicks announced that they have re-signed free agent Lou Amundson to a one-year, fully guaranteed contract. By signing the six-foot-nine-inch veteran forward, the Knicks filled their 15th and final regular season roster spot and ignored their need for a third point guard to play behind injury-prone players Derrick Rose and Brandon Jennings in the backcourt.

Amundson, a 10-year veteran out of UNLV, has played for 10 other teams besides the Knicks and is known for his hard work and positive energy both on and off the court. Although his career numbers are less than stellar, he will provide a veteran presence on the bench of a New York team with several young players in the backup positions.
