About Me

While completing an MBA with an emphasis in management at Adelphi University, Larry Greenfield joined OPUS Trading as a trading assistant. He remained with Opus for more than 15 years, the majority of which were as a partner of the Jericho, New York-based firm. In his role as a desk leader and one of Opus’ top-ranking traders, he developed and directed a staff of high-producing personnel. Responsible for evaluating buy-and-sell patterns, Larry Greenfield regularly performed data analysis, using tools such as volume and figure charts. He also managed risk factors and upheld regulatory guidelines while planning and executing major trades. By consistently identifying new opportunities in rapidly fluctuating markets, he helped generate an increase in profitability for OPUS.

Before beginning his career, Larry Greenfield attended SUNY at Albany, where he earned a place on the Dean’s List on several occasions and received a BA in psychology with a minor in political science. He possesses Series 7, 55, and 63 securities licenses.

Outside of his work in the financial industry, Mr. Greenfield enjoys playing golf, reading the New York Times, sampling cabernets, and listening to the music of Phil Collins and Led Zeppelin. He attends a few New York Mets games each year and holds season tickets to the New York Knicks. When traveling, Larry Greenfield favors trips to locations with attractive beaches, having previously visited such destinations as Florida, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
